Our goal is to help as many people as possible discover the fun we enjoy in running of any kind.
Founded by a few dads that snuck out of the house for a run after putting the kids to bed, the Night Ninjas has flourished into a club for all runners and walkers.
Inclusive – from those just starting their running journey through to seasoned distance, marathon and ultra runners.
Our Tikanga:
● Connected – We positively link into and support our running community
● Welcoming – All individuals are encouraged and supported equally
● Inclusive – We are a club for all
● Fun – We embrace the joy of running.
We have a group run each day of the week on the Hibiscus Coast and a Ninja at most, if not all Auckland events.
For a full and more formal understanding of our goals and club conduct please download our constitution. For more info, insights or concerns please email: contact (at) nightninjas.run

The real reason we join
If you were to ask a Ninja what the real benefits are, the most likely answers would be:
- The camaraderie
- the ability to connect with others that don’t get bored when all you talk about is running
- someone to bounce training/nutrition/niggle ideas off
- good running advice (mostly)
- someone to have a laugh with on your training run
- the banter
- but also, the genuine support you get from fellow Ninjas.
